You stated: 'duplicate the problem by pasting the notes:// link into the address bar of Notes or in a browser window.'
Where are you getting the doclink in order to paste it? Is it from Notes or is it from Outlook?
If there is a Notes process that originally creates the doclink, then the email is forwarded/sent on to Outlook, is there a way to go back and look at the original (Notes) version of the document to see if the doclinks are the same?
